Holykell Achieves Dual Certification in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
At Holykell, we believe that it's important to prioritize health, safety, and sustainability in everything we do. That's why we're so proud to announce that we've recently achieved two important certifications : ISO 45001: 2018 and ISO 14001: 2015.
What is ISO 45001?
ISO 45001 is a global standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It provides a framework for organizations to proactively manage the health and safety of their workers and other interested parties.
ISO 45001 covers a range of topics related to occupational health and safety, including hazard identification, risk assessment and control, legal and regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness and response, and continuous improvement. By implementing ISO 45001, organizations can create a safer workplace, reduce workplace injuries and illnesses, and demonstrate their commitment to the health and safety of their employees and stakeholders.
What is ISO14001?
ISO 14001 is an international standard for environmental management systems (EMS). It provides a framework for organizations to manage their environmental responsibilities in a systematic and sustainable manner.
ISO 14001 covers a range of topics related to environmental management, including environmental policy, planning, implementation and operation, checking and corrective action, and management review. By implementing ISO 14001, organizations can identify and manage their environmental impact, reduce waste, conserve resources, and demonstrate their commitment to environmental sustainability.
The standards were both developed by the International Organization for Standardization(ISO). It is designed to be compatible with other ISO management system standards, such as ISO 9001, making it easier for organizations to integrate their health and safety management system with their overall management system.
