Submersible Hydrostatic Pressure Level Transmitter in Water Level Measurement

Aug 11 , 2023

Using submersible hydrostatic pressure level transmitters to measure water level changes is a common method used in modern industrial surveys. Based on the working principle of static pressure, it can effectively measure the specific change of water level. However, when setting up the system for immersion static pressure level measurement, we must consider that the measurement medium will be affected by temperature and environment. At this time, we should deploy the temperature compensation and application required for static pressure level measurement early. The material measured in harsh environments increases the measurement data of the water level (liquid level).

The water level measurement data comes from the differential pressure output signal of the submersible hydrostatic pressure level transmitter. The reason why the hydrostatic pressure level transducer and the electronic component output the digital signal is that the static pressure type liquid level transmitter is a liquid level sensor for measuring the liquid level pressure, which is based on the principle that the measured hydrostatic pressure is proportional to the height of the liquid. And using isolated diffused silicon sensitive components or ceramic capacitor electronic components, the static pressure is converted into an electrical signal, and then converted into a standard digital signal by temperature temperature compensation and linear correction.

Due to the change of external atmospheric pressure and the acceleration of gravity, when the submersible hydrostatic pressure level transmitter is measured throw in the water, it takes a period of time to collect the information of the medium, and then convert it into digital information by the static pressure ratio. Therefore, do not allow the static pressure sensor to leave the medium multiple times, resulting in a large data deviation.
