Holykell Dragon Boat Festival Team Building Event

On June 7th, we embarked on a delightful Dragon Boat Festival team-building event in a beautiful rural courtyard in Changsha. This picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with traditional activities, delicious food, and bonding moments that will be cherished by all.

 

Our day began with the time-honored tradition of making zongzi, the famous sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves. It was a wonderful experience that we work together in a fun and collaborative manner.

After mastering the art of zongzi, we moved on to an exciting session of crayfish fishing. This activity brought out the competitive spirit in many of us, as we eagerly tried to catch the largest crayfish. The serene environment of the countryside and the thrill of the catch made for a memorable and relaxing experience.

As the afternoon unfolded, we engaged in various games designed to foster teamwork. These games ranged from traditional Dragon Boat Festival activities to modern team-building exercises, all of which were met with enthusiasm and laughter.

Of course, no rural outing would be complete without savoring the local cuisine. We were treated to a feast of farm-fresh dishes that highlighted the flavors of the region. From savory meats to fresh vegetables, every bite was a testament to the culinary skills of our hosts. Sharing this meal together was a perfect end to our day, filled with stories and laughter.
