How to choose FMCW Radar Level Sensors?
FMCW radar level sensors are common measuring instrument in industrial production. Using frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology, the frequency of the radar signal increases linearly, and it is especially suitable for high temperature, high pressure or strong dusting, and multi-stirring environments. It meets measurement requirements that large range and high precision are demand. It is widely used in petroleum, coal chemical industry, medicine, food, electric power, environmental protection, water conservancy, metallurgy and other fields.
For the FMCW radar level sensor, it is a non-contact level meter that measures solids or liquids, and is not affected by dielectric constant, pressure, temperature. What aspects should we consider when selecting models?
The complexity of the working conditions includes: foam, corrosiveness, high temperature, stirring, crystallization, dust, water vapor… The FMCW radar level gauge will adjust its configuration to meet the measurement needs according to the complexity of the working conditions.
The measurement range is calculated from the position where the beam touches the tank bottom, but in special cases, if the tank bottom is concave or conical, the measurement cannot be performed when the material level is lower than this point. For working conditions with large range and high precision requirements, FMCW radar level sensor is a good choice.
Holykell FWCW radar level sensor supports various power supply and signal output. The on-site digital communication function of the communication protocol can be debugged on-site or remotely controlled.
