Simultaneous Measurement of Flow, Pressure and Temperature by Electromagnetic Flowmeters
Receiving an inquiry from a customer, saying “hi, i need a water flow meter with temperature & pressure measurement sensor, and
Pipe diameter is 1″.
Temperature range is 10°C to 40°C.
Pressure range is 0 to 10 bar.”
While currently our standard flowmeters primarily measure flow rate, some models can simultaneously detect flow, volume and temperature only.
For this case, we can customize an electromagnetic flow meter by incorporating additional sensors within the same housing, effectively allowing for simultaneous monitoring of flow rate, pressure and temperature. The measurement typically requires a pressure transducer and a temperature sensor installed separately in the system.
Benefits of simultaneous measurement with an electromagnetic flowmeter:
Comprehensive process monitoring: By providing multiple parameters in one device, operators can gain a more complete understanding of the fluid flow characteristics.
Reduced installation complexity: Fewer complex instruments and wiring are needed, simplifying system setup.
More cost-efficient sense: budget can be cut down
Favorable for limited space: integrated design enables smaller installation area.
Important considerations:
Fluid conductivity: Electromagnetic flowmeters only work with conductive liquids.
Sensor design: Though the temperature sensor and pressure sensor can be compatible with the customer’s existing ones, the choice of these sensors can affect its accuracy and stability. This OEM magflow meter offers reliable measuring and monitoring of industrial water, cooling water, waste water or rinsing water and more.
